How a trace is surveyed.
Dyetrace reads Borrow, Repay and Transfer logs from Arc’s public RPC. A passage is solid only when it names a transaction hash and log index that moved the money; anything else is drawn dashed as unsurveyed. Surveyors add, confirm or dispute links by signing a typed message with their wallet; no transaction is sent and no funds are held. A siphon is a cycle in the surveyed graph that returns to the starting position, detected with a strongly connected components pass. Dyetrace does not see offchain desks, bridges it cannot read, or intentions; those passages stay dark until someone pins a call. It does not rate yields and does not tell anyone to stay or leave.
What counts as surveyed
- A pinned station names a real transaction hash and log index on Arc.
- An unsurveyed passage is drawn dashed until someone pins that call.
- Confirming or disputing a link needs a wallet signature, not a transaction — no funds ever pass through Dyetrace.
- A dispute needs a reason and a source call, the same as a confirmation.
What Dyetrace cannot see
Offchain desks, bridges the public RPC cannot read, and intentions are all outside the survey. A dark passage is not evidence of anything wrong; it is only evidence that nobody has pinned a call for it yet. Dyetrace does not rate a yield as good or bad and does not advise anyone to stay in a position or leave it.
